We are excited to introduce two new collections from Moda designer Stacy Iest Hsu, each bringing something unique to the table. Unveiled at H+H Americas earlier this year, Farmstead and Cut. Sew. Create. reflect Stacy’s love for family, heritage, and the joy of teaching the next generation to sew. Let’s dive into these inspiring new releases!

Farmstead: A Celebration of Heritage

Stacy’s Farmstead collection is a heartwarming tribute to her family’s farming roots. Inspired by her grandfather’s journey from the Netherlands to the United States to start a dairy farm, this vintage-inspired collection captures the warmth and charm of rural life. With its blend of beautiful florals and playful farm animal prints, Farmstead offers both sophistication and versatility, perfect for creating projects that reflect the joys of farm life or something entirely different.

Featured Project: Barn Book Panel

One of the standout features of Farmstead is its two charming panels. The first is a cut-and-sew Barn Book—a project style that Stacy has done in the past and received a wonderful reception.

Featured Project: Farm Animal Panel

The second panel features nine adorable farm animals, perfect for making a variety of items.

Stacy has also designed five quilts to pair with this collection, each one as delightful as the next. One quilt uses the animal panels, while another revisits a favorite from a past collection: the beloved sheep motif. And for those who enjoy smaller projects, Stacy has included some pouch-making ideas, like a cute glass milk bottle pouch and a floral pouch.

Featured Quilt: Here Little Sheep

The Here Little Sheep pattern features an adorable sheep design that adds a touch of whimsy to any project. This sweet quilt pairs perfectly with the low-volume prints from the Farmstead collection, creating a soft, cozy look that’s perfect for both nurseries and living spaces. Whether you're using it as a standalone piece or combining it with other projects, Here Little Sheep is sure to charm everyone who sees it.

Whether you’re making a quilt for a loved one or a decorative piece for your home, Flitter Floral Butterfly adds an elegant and playful element to any project.

Featured Quilt: Farmstead

The Farmstead pattern, the namesake of the latest collection, is a charming quilt that beautifully showcases the adorable animal panel. With its traditional design and timeless palette of creams, grays, golds, and blues, this pattern exudes warmth and sophistication. Perfect for animal lovers and kiddos alike, the Farmstead quilt combines a classic farm-inspired feel with a modern touch, making it a heartwarming addition to any home.
